I am
working on my own fuel cell and will keep you updated on my progress.
Updates will be at the bottom of the page.
These five look to be very good. Please remember
there are other things you have to do in order to increase your mileage and
if you look on YouTube for hydrogen cell you will get some ideas. Most
home mechanics can build these. Stainless plates can be found at Lowe's as light
switch covers. On the right is a document link to some very good
information.
One of the most important things is to modify the oxygen sensor so it
will not see a lean condition and richen the fuel back up. More info here. Another is the
MAP/MAF sensor. Add-ons for these are available, check the
Fuel-Saver
Links here or on the Right of this page. VERY
helpful people.
Anyway please do a little research and then decide what you want to
accomplish with a cell of your own. Your mileage may vary. If you are not
mechanically inclined then you may need something like the Hydrogen Car
network. This one has a help forum with someone to answer questions you may have.
You may possibly end up
With double the mileage. It would be nice to go from 18 to 36
mpg. Good Luck!! Happy Tuning.
Some people are having amazing results with this type of conversion. On the
lower left side are add-ons to enhance your fuel mileage with or without an HHO
generator.
Most are happy with a 10 to 15 miles per gallon
gain in mileage. All this for a little time and investment. As I have been a mechanic all
my life I am familiar with these conversions and some of the tweaks to get
them to work to their maximum potential.
Warning: As with anything there are risks involved so research all of them
before venturing out into one. Hydrogen is very explosive and must be
connected with this in mind.
Thank You for visiting,
Mike NOTE: Most of these on the left are instructions on how
build a cell and not kits you assemble. You
must source your parts locally.

Fuel injected vehicles need
an Electronic Fuel Injection Handler (EFIE) for all oxygen sensors upstream
of the catalytic converter. Installing a modern electrolyzer to your engine
will cause additional oxygen to appear in the exhaust. The computer will
then add gas trying to "correct" this desirable condition. An EFIE is needed
to compensate for this, and therefore achieve the full fuel savings
available.

Well I am in the testing stage of
my fuel cell. I am pretty happy with it right now. It is a five cell
separated by plexiglass dividers and is designed after one I bought plans
for. I did some changes to it that I thought would be good and so far it is
working like a dream.
Doesn't get hot after running over
six hours straight. Pulling about 8 amps cold and 10 amps after it runs for
an hour or so. Puts out a very good stream of hydrogen and should run my 3.0
liter very well.
I have built a MAP/MAF sensor
enhancer and will install it along with my cell when ready. Right at this time I am building a PWM for driving the cell.
I also have the parts and board to build my Efie. Then comes the install and testing in the vehicle.
